Inspired
by the
movement
of a pinecone depending on humidity,I created a multi layered lamp shade that would work with the oak’s naural ability to shrink and swell.

Rainy days cause the lamp to take its cylindric form, direct sun will cause the lamp to open itself up to the sunlight,
having the heater on for too long causes the lamp to open up to the fullest.
